The C word

Christmas (eeek!). Canvas (excellent!). Craig Charles? (Oh yes!)

Yes, like many PRs across the land we are talking Christmas in July, people. And please don’t hate us for it; there’s a very good reason.

Canvas have re-booked the very excellent Craig Charles, to appear at a unique and awesome Christmas party on November 24.

We are talking about it now because ALL of the Craig Charles gigs at Canvas this year have sold out. So it’s well worth getting your tickets, sticking them on the fridge, and telling your friends to do so too.

Craig Charles is an all-rounder – actor, comedian, music lover – and he has really come into his own as a purveyor of the finest funk and soul as part of his much-loved BBC radio show.

Rarely does a DJ’s wide-eyed enthusiasm for the music he plays translate as well as Craig Charles’. With a telepathic ability to select stomping anthems from start to finish, he brings a fully immersive clubbing experience to the dance floor.

He’s not just a radio DJ, he has experience setting fire to club nights across the UK, including a popular residency in Bloomsbury.

Charles remains firmly in the public eye with his much-loved portrayal of Lloyd in Coronation Street and his turn in the classic sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, which is currently filming new episodes, to the delight of its many fans.

He has also released a CD ‘Funk & Soul Classics’ – perfect for the car, the home, or to play as you get ready for your big night out at Canvas – buy here: http://smarturl.it/CCFunkSoul.
