Sandpolo entertainment announced!

The British Beach Polo Championships are a truly unique part of our Sandbanks summer. Join players from across the UK plus thousands of beautiful people, who flock to Sandbanks beach to cheer on these magnificent athletes and their gorgeous horses.

The event attracts the best riders in the world – in the past, we have welcomed Australian, South African, Argentinian, Irish and Welsh teams. What’s more, there is now a beach rugby element and Sandfest UK music festival has kept the audience guessing and wanting more.

Only 5,000 tickets are on sales for the two-day event. It’s THE place to people watch and make new, important contacts.

The Hurlingham Polo Association oversees the polo, which attracts four competitive medium goal teams of three players.

Each team plays on both days with a further exhibition game on the Saturday. A charity race is held between the two fastest ponies on each day.

Generous sponsorship from established brands such as Sunseeker, Barclays Wealth, Audi and Oakley has ensured the quality of the event remains high and guests are treated to the highest level of service.  The likes of Idris Elba, Tinie Tempah and Trevor Nelson ensure the beach parties stay energised until the early hours of the morning.

With continued support from the local authorities Sandpolo will continue to adjust to the ever-changing social dynamic while staying true to its competitive polo roots.
