Preview: Saturday’s par-tea Afternoon Tea Week celebration

Want to make Bank Holiday weekend extra special? Head down to Village Hotel Club on Saturday to feast on a brand new afternoon tea menu.

Great British Bake Off winner and Village Hotel Club ambassador Candice Brown has created a special and delectable Afternoon Par-Tea menu includes a sumptuous spread of savoury and sweet treats, and is available every Saturday throughout the summer between 2-5pm.

Make it a real Par-tea and upgrade to:

  • Pornstar Martini’s for £25pp
  • G&T for £25pp
  • Aperol Spritz for £25pp
  • Half bottle of Prosecco for £30pp

We love savoury treats so we are sending our spy to sample the mini brioches filled with creamy egg mayonnaise and spinach, a roasted sweet potato, chorizo and red pepper tart and delicious prawn Marie rose with avocado served on crackers.

Next, wow your guest with Candice’s selection of ‘show-stopper’ desserts, featuring mini cornflake tart with lemon curd, chocolate and orange scones with jam and cream and rhubarb and custard profiteroles.

Fact file

Book online and pay a £10 per person deposit. The Afternoon Par-Tea menu costs just £17.50pp and is served with tea and coffee.

Those that want to make it a real ‘par-tea’ can upgrade to a G&T, pornstar martini or Aperol spritz for £25pp, or enjoy a half bottle of prosecco for £30pp. It is available to book here https://www.village-hotels.co.uk/candice-afternoon-tea/.
