Groovemeister announce all 2018 Canvas dates

11893793_1128402927174332_7091568363037817300_o-750x750Our favourite funksters, Groovemeister, have announced their live dates until the end of the year at Bournemouth’s only loft bar, Canvas.

They will play on July 13, August 10, September 21 and November 13.

A regular live act at Dorset’s best music venues, Groovemeister are best known for playing floor-filling funk, soul and disco classics. They’ve been playing at Canvas regularly since the bar launched almost two years ago – throw in your best friends and a couple of cocktails and you’ve got a guaranteed good night out.

Tickets cost just £5 – buy now for the July gig before it sells out by clicking here. A prepaid ticket guarantees entry at any time – a great idea due to how busy these events get! But entry is free before 8pm and after the live act is finished.

Expect a big crowd prepared to dance well into the night. The bar is open from 5pm with a cocktail 2 4 1 Happy Hour 6-8pm, stage time 9-11pm, then DJ afterparty with Jay Rachet until late.

Need some ideas for cocktails to get the party started? We love the new range of gin cocktails, including Too Few Words, Flying Over Bath and Blue Lady (but there will be no tears before bedtime at a Canvas gig).

Of course, Groovemeister appear at many Bournemouth venues. But for the full funk experience, we recommend Canvas.

Fact file

Canvas is Bournemouth’s only loft bar and oozes cool vibes. The venue boasts a new cocktail bar, stage, sound and lighting rig and is already getting rave reviews from the BournemouthNews.info team. You can enjoy tasty tapas and inventive cocktails, served by an enthusiastic and imaginative team.
