Deal of the day: 2-4-1 cocktails at Canvas 5pm-8pm everyday

Have you been to Bournemouth’s only loft bar? Canvas is making waves in BH2 for it’s elegant excellence, classy cocktails and no-nosense over-21 policy. This is where the grown-ups have fun.

The best time to check it out is 5pm-8pm every day, when you can get two cocktails for the price of one.

Choose from:

Mojito (£7.25); made with Bacardi Carta Blanca;

Strawberry Mojito (£7.25); fresh strawberries with the classic mix;

Bramble (£7.25); Beefeater gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, creme de mure;

Forest Smash (£7.25); a Jack Daniels cocktail garnished with cranberry bitters;

Espresso Martini (£7.25); perfect after a day at the shops! Made with the finest Stoli Vanilla vodka;

Three Berry Daquiri (£7.25); strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with Bacardi Carta Blanca and lime juice. Yum.

Negroni (£7.25); Beefeater, Campari and Vermouth Rouge.

Fact file

Very different in personality to the Live Lounge, the sumptuous and luxurious Canvas cocktail bar is stylish yet understated. Feature lighting and statement pieces play second fiddle to the main bar, which is stocked with nearly every type of liquor known to man. There isn’t much a Canvas bartender cannot make you so do not be afraid to ask.

Relax into a button backed seat and while away a few hours with your favour tipple or why not sample a selection of tapas or browse the stonebaked pizza menu.
