Celebrate World Meditation Day at Fabric

If you work hard, play hard and party harder, you need to schedule in some chill time too. But tomorrow you can combine clubbing with chilling at Fabric, which is opening its doors for a one-of-a-kind event.

HR Akala by Alexis ChabalaWellbeing expert and author Will Williams (right) celebrates World Meditation Day with guided mediation, DJs, healthy food and the chance to meet like-minded individuals.

Williams said: “I was always a massive party boy and had many a debauched night in Fabric, but having realised there is a more balanced way to achieve my highs, and stay feeling good all week long, my team and I are spreading the meditation love with events and courses that are accessible and relevant for everyday folks.

“This is Manumission for the 21st century.”

This is the first-ever chance to join London’s largest guided meditation in a world famous party spot, with Williams joined on the night by BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits, with a DJ set from Ninja Tune’s Jordan Rakei, closing with a sound bath from nutrition expert Jasmine Hemsley. All proceeds donated to mental health charity CALM.

Food and drink on the day comes courtesy of the worlds first non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip, Sambazon, Hippeas, 100% Natural Foods, Pukka Tea, Rebel Kitchen & more.
