Forget Glastonbury – Larmer Tree Festival this weekend boasted great acts AND perfect weather. Why go anywhere else?

Big names included Jamie Cullum, The Stranglers rocking the main stage, rising star Gabrielle Aplin and a critically acclaimed performance from Tom Odell.

But founder James Shepard, told Somerset Live that Caro Emerald was a contender for his favourite act of the year which he described as the event’s “best yet”.

“With over 70 acts, it’s hard picking favourite performances, but it was a real pleasure to finally get Caro Emerald to the festival – she’s been a favourite of mine for a long time,” he said.
