Photos: Judge Jules at Canvas, Bournemouth

What a night as John Langford and Judge Jules blew the lid of Canvas! Next up Norman Jay’s ‘Good Times’ on Friday April 27. Always a cracker… Continually featured in the upper echelons of Mixmag’s top 100 DJs in the world and one of the Face magazine’s most influential club culture figures of the last decade, amongst numerous other accolades attributed to him, Jay’s contribution to the UK music scene is second to none. He is a deejay icon featuring regularly on various television, radio and magazine programmes on black music and dance culture.

Fact file

Think cocktails, think Canvas. Marvel at the extensive back bar spirits and order your favourite tipple. Why not take a recommendation from their experienced cocktail makers or sample one of their craft bottled beers.

Food is light but substantial. Traditional stonebaked pizzas and a selection of tapas are just enough to keep the hunger at bay while waiting for the band or DJ to kickstart the action.
