Georgia Toffolo attended the Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Racenight as part of her role as Great British Racing’s Roving Reporter.

“It was great fun to be back onstage, especially for GBX Anthems with George Bowie. Hamilton Racecourse knows how to put on a real show and the crowd was loving it!” she said.

“The music and entertainment that’s on offer at racecourses across the UK is extraordinary, and it’s usually included in the race ticket. It’s a wonderful way to catch some amazing performances!”

Wearing a spotty dress and matching hat, the avid horse racing fan continued her coverage of the raceday by interviewing racegoers about the music acts they would most like to see and their plans for the evening.

Georgia took a closer look at the historic trophy during the afternoon as well as the modern version which is used today, and was on hand to present it to the winning horse trained, Elysian Flame, trained by Mick Easterby.

Georgia will next appear at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 12th September, before her final appearance at Huntingdon Racecourse on Saturday 23rd November.

Horse racing is the second biggest spectator sport in the country, with six million people attending each year. As well as top class sporting action, a day at the races is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and enjoy a day out with friends and family.
