Freeway takes place the first Wednesday of every month and is a hotbed of creative talent, with a laid-back vibe and yummy vegetarian food to enjoy. Here is some information about this month’s line-up – congratulations to Louise and Mark for organising another successful night.
Baden is a writer, performer and poetry entrepreneur who creates a big presence both on stage and on the page. He is the organiser of east London’s regular spoken word event SPEAKEASY. His poems are honest, sensual, astute; containing an emotional awareness of our world and those who inhabit it.
Baden also acts as host/mc for a number of tall-lighthouse poetry events and is tall-lighthouse education consultant for education & workshop programmes.
Bournemouth best loved and well known poet, with his humour, wit and compassion in his words he is a wonder to listen to, and with is recent appearance on the Undateables he is a star.
Paul Canon Harris is a poet and writer based in Bournemouth. His first collection Best Before was published in 2012. He performs regularly at live events and on radio.
Words can not describe Hi Ho, he is funny, bubbly, a poet and a word smith who makes you laugh and cry with his performance.
