Fast cars and footballers go together like jelly and ice cream. So it should come as no surprise that with AFC Bournemouth still thriving in the Premiership, their players know their motors as well as they know their set pieces.

So it stands to reason that Westover Group, one of the south’s largest privately-owned motoring groups has joined the line-up of AFC Bournemouth’s commercial partners as ‘Official Motor Partner’.

Westover’s backing for the Cherries has now officially launched and will continue for the next two years.  During the partnership the group will work closely with AFC Bournemouth on campaigns and competitions that will be promoted across the team’s website and social media channels. Westover’s branding will be visible to the public on matchdays throughout the stadium and at corporate events, and season ticket holders as well as AFCB employees, will benefit from special terms at any Westover Group location.

Paul Dillon, managing director at the Westover Group, said: “We are delighted to announce our official support for AFC Bournemouth and are looking forward to engaging with the club’s fan base.

“As a local firm covering Dorset and Wiltshire, we’ve always backed the Cherries and it’s great to cement our support for them on an official basis. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Westover, and we look forward to getting involved with the team and supporters, and likewise, we look forward to sharing benefits with our customers.”

AFC Bournemouth commercial director Rob Mitchell said: “We are delighted to add Westover to the club’s already impressive line-up of commercial partners. Westover are a well-known and trusted brand, having been established for almost a century, and we are excited about what can be achieved together over the next two years.”

Westover Group represents 15 vehicle manufacturers – Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Dacia, Fiat, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lotus, Nissan, Renault, Skoda and Toyota across 28 locations in Dorset and Wiltshire.
