Trowbridge Community unites against covid-19
A lot of the people requiring help in the #Trowbridge area might not have access to the internet or a computer.
If you know someone who might need help, please give them a quick call and pass on the @Trowbridgegov number. Call on 01225 765072 pic.twitter.com/P5t7bm67SV

Bournemouth council and Trowbridge’s CEM are mobilising an army of volunteers to help the community through the covid-19 crisis.
The ‘COVID-19 Volunteer Pack’ includes top tips on setting up a volunteer group, advice on supporting those in self-isolation, and a range of template forms and useful signposting to other resources.
Cllr Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council said: “We want to do all we can to support volunteer groups to carry out their vital role throughout their communities.
“Many groups have shared their way of working with us and we’ve collated as much of that as possible in one handy place. It’s testament to the great work that’s happening that we could have produced a 100-page document, but we’ve tried to keep it as concise and accessible as possible.
“We’re so proud of everyone’s efforts so far and we’ll continue to help them any we can.”
The council has also published a Community Groups Directory. This contains information about the volunteer groups the council has been made aware of and will be updated as much as possible.
