The Bankes Arms offers deliveries for those self-isolating due to COVID-19
As the nation adjusts to life avoiding the Coronavirus – Covid-19 – it’s great to know a hotel and pub in Corfe Castle are serving the community with hot food deliveries within five miles. The dinner menu changes weekly – breakfast can be arranged – and locally sourced produce supports the community furthermore.
The team at Corfe Castle based hotel and pub The Bankes Arms have put together a seasonal delivery and takeaway fresh and frozen menu and wants to reach out to all those in the community who may need support at this time, from just £7.95. Beer, cider and soft drinks to wash it down with are also available to the vulnerable and hungry within five miles, with no charge for delivery.
This week’s menu includes:
Homemade Irish Lamb Stew with Mash or Crusty Bread

George Pitcher, owner of The Bankes Arms, said: “This is an incredibly worrying time but we want everyone to know we are here to help and support the local community In Corfe and surrounding areas just as they have supported me for years.
“My Head Chef Toby Wood and I are working hard to make sure that everything is fresh, seasonal and all our produce is locally sourced.
“We’ll be changing the menu weekly so do let us know any requests.
“Thank you for your continued support and we’re here for you.”
