Salcombe Brewery offers doorstep deliveries during Covid-19
We are all in this together. As the elderly and isolate struggle to stay healthy during the Covid-19 crisis, good news – Salcombe Brewery has extended their Doorstop Beer Delivery initiative to include fresh produce from across Devon, ensuring that as many people as possible have access to some food and drink pleasures without having to leave their homes.
The free service goes directly to the door of consumers across all TQ postcodes and specified PL and EX postcodes.
In addition to ordering Salcombe Brewery’s Seahorse bag-in-box draught beer and bottles, there are also healthy food options to keep you stocked up no matter what. As some cannot get out for their daily exercise, it’s a real lifeline for those struggling with mobility issues or already infected.
Fill the fridge with various Warcombe Produce Devon potatoes, Passion for Pies and Sharpham Cheese.
Owner of Salcombe Brewery, John Tiner said: “We all face a few tough months ahead as we remain at home self-distancing in line with government advice. As an independent brewery that works with pubs, bars and restaurants, we believe it’s our duty to do our part and ensure there’s plenty of food and drink to go round our community. That’s why we’re offering this service free from any delivery charges.
“We will all need a few treats to keep us going and what better way to lift the spirits than enjoying a bottle of your favourite Salcombe ale or a 9 pint box of Seahorse draught beer together with a warm pie, local chips (followed by) brie?”
