Platters & Prosecco: classic, classy Canvas has the ideal setting for a relaxed Valentine’s Day

We know some couples like to keep Valentine’s Day casual. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Bournemouth’s only loft bar, Canvas, to offer a relaxed night of platters and Prosecco.

Our reviewer loved the Canvas sharing boards when he visited with his wife.

Dom said: “The cheese options were Old Winchester (a cross between cheddar and parmigiano), Melusine goat’s cheese, Goddess (a semi-soft cheese washed in Somerset cider brandy), Bath Soft (mushroomy and creamy), Dorset Blue Vinny and Buffalo mozzarella, and the meat selection consisted of Bresaola (cured Italian beef), Speck (cured pork leg), Prosciutto Crudo Parma, Coppa (neck of hog), Salame Felino and Chorizo Serrano.

“In order to do a full review, we did the only thing we thought was right and ordered the lot! It was presented on a large tray with ciabatta, stuffed peppers, olives, oil with balsamic glaze, apple and cider brandy chutney and cornichons. A veritable feast, I’m sure you’ll agree.”

Add a bottle of bubbly and that’s date night sorted – any night of the year.
