Kendall Jenner halts riot with a can of Pepsi MAX – yeah right!

We get sent some strange press releases and video links – but the latest, an advert for Pepsi starring Kendall Jenner, has us laughing out loud. Just when you thought the Kardashians couldn’t get more ridiculous, supermodel Kendall halts a riot with – wait for it – a can of Pepsi.

The advert for Pepsi MAX – with the soundtrack “Live For Now Moments Anthem” feat.uring“Lions” by Skip Marley – had Twitter in meltdown with some hilarious responses.

A Pepsi spokesman said: “The “Jump In” Pepsi MAX Moments film takes a more progressive approach to truly reflect today’s generation and what living for now looks like. The creative features multiple lives, stories and emotional connections that show passion, joy, unbound and uninhibited moments.”

Skip Marley said: “Standing together and being unified in the moment is a powerful experience. This song ‘Lions’ that Pepsi selected for the ‘Moments’ ad should remind our generation to look at the way you are living and find strength and calm in each moment.”

Kendall has posted a link to the advert on her Twitter feed but has yet to respond to the ‘haters’.

In the press release, sent my mega-firm freud, Kendall said: “I am thrilled to join the legendary roster of icons who have represented their generations and worked with Pepsi. To me, Pepsi is more than just a beverage – it registers as a pop culture icon & a lifestyle that shares a voice with the generation of today. The spirit of Pepsi – living in the ‘now’ moment- is one that I believe in. I make a conscious effort in my everyday life and travels to enjoy every experience of today.”

We only hope there was some vodka to go with that can of Pepsi MAX – Kendall’s going to need it…

Let the meme wars begin!
