Bournemouth bootcamp: Forest Fit Club launches 5-day body blitz
Eaten too many Easter eggs? A beasting at bootcamp is more than just a quick fix, you can learn training techniques and lifelong healthy habits to help you actually enjoy making fitness part of your daily routine. Weight loss is just one welcome side effect – you can also expect more energy, a better complexion, increased sense of wellbeing and a new group of fitness friends.
Bootcamp holidays are increasing popular, thanks to celebrity endorsements, but with accommodation, food and activities often costing £1,000 or more, you might feel priced out of the fitness market. One solution is local firm Forest Fit Club. Run by cheerful chaps Joe and Oli, they offer weekly bootcamp training sessions in Meyrick Park or the New Forest.
Their new 5-day body blitz offers all the training and support of a traditional bootcamp, without additional food and accommodation costs. Ideal if you live in the Dorset and Bournemouth area, expect to pay around £199 rather than four figures.
All training is done locally, for around six hours a day between 9.15am-5pm Monday to Friday. The next bootcamp starts April 23 and we will be reporting from the front line.
Activities include a 12-mile cross country bike ride, enjoying views of the Dorset countryside and coastline, and PT sessions in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth. In addition to five-day bootcamps, one-hour exercise sessions are also available in nine different time slots.
