Everybody chill out! You are safe (ish) in Bournemouth

How safe do you feel in Bournemouth? Well, while it’s important not to get complacent about personal safety, you will be pleased to hear that the South West has won a game of Crime Roulette, on Casinopedia.

Their new interactive crime report ranks region in the UK from the safest to the least safe. And it goes deeper than just the numbers; it looks at the population levels and the chance of experiencing crime, homicide, burglary and violence across the UK, on a regional level.

Again, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be wary, particularly on a night out. But it’s good to know that out of nine regions analysed, the South West ranked 9th for chances of overall crime, 8th for Homicide, 8th for Violence and 9th for Burglary.

“We all know that being a victim of crime is unfortunate, but it seems that where you live can have a huge bearing on your chances of being able to avoid it,” Jake Fox, CEO of Casinopedia, said. “Just like a punter who has an inside tip on a horse, the more information you have, the more likely you are to get lucky. At Casinopedia, we are always analysing games and the odds of certain outcomes, so we wondered if we could apply that thinking to other aspects of life. Our research shows that with a little bit of knowledge, it is possible to tip crime odds in your favour.”
