COVID-19: Get a taxi in London safely with Addison Lee

By the Addison Lee team

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, your safety and the safety of our drivers is our primary concern. Key to this, is following government recommendations closely, and with the recent change of government advice around the pandemic, we wanted to let you know that we’ve updated our COVID-19 guidelines (which can be viewed here and seen below).
Along with taking official advice,we are also putting additional measures in place to help fight the spread of the virus. Each driver partner will have :

  • Access to bottles of disinfectant spray and hand-sanitiser.
  • Access to three full car valets each week as part of their deal.
  • A car cleaning guide.
The Addison Lee Team: Our Guidelines
• Carefully monitoring the Government risk level assessment – while it has been raised to high, there are no restrictions on movement and so we continue to operate normally.

• Continuous re-enforcement of PHE precautions to our drivers and employees to help prevent spreading of the virus, including regular handwashing through the provision of hand-sanitiser.

• Asking potential passengers to follow government guidelines and ensure they are not exhibiting symptoms associated with Coronavirus before they book with us.

• Requiring drivers and employees who are exhibiting symptoms associated with Coronavirus to follow government guidelines, notify relevant individuals internally and self-isolate.
