Bournemouth loves Judge Jules…
Judge Jules lovers have two reasons to be happy now. Firstly, he’s playing V Bournemouth on January 25 (click here for tickets). Secondly, he is going to be ably supported by Bournemouth boys and Babybox regulars Ctrl at his Ministry of Sound gig on March 22.
Bournemouth DJs have long been making the trek up the M3 to make their mark on London clubland. The March 22 date is the fourth time Ctrl have taken over the capital with their unique brand of trance. Also on the bill on the Ministry of Sound night are Omnia, Simon Patterson and Lee Osborne.
Ctrl is helmed by DJs Michael Norton and James Tysoe. They are running the back room at Slinky next month, too (email news@bournemouthnews.info for tickets). Both big dates are the result of some hardcore networking over the past two years and they’ve got tonnes of surprises up their sleeves for both big dates.
Michael said: “Growing up I was into rock, indie, grunge and punk… You would often find me at some of the biggest gigs in London most weekends. I swapped all that after a night clubbing with friend and fell in love with hard house and trance.
“It’s always nice to see people connecting with the music you’re playing and taking them on a journey through sound and emotions. I’m there to have a good time playing to an audience as much as the audience having a good time to and that always seems to be the case at Ministry of Sound.”
