Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Exhibition

Over 600 landlords and prospective landlords, from across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset are expected to attend the upcoming Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Exhibition taking place this October.

Together, with Seventa Events, Poole and Bournemouth Councils have created this year’s exhibition which will provide both landlords and prospective landlords with the tools required to take full advantage of the area’s buoyant private rented sector.  It is also a key date in the Council’s diary as an opportunity to network with landlords and promote good working practices.

Councillor Robert Lawton, Cabinet member for Housing, Bournemouth Borough Council, said: “Every year this event becomes more and more popular. The event is a fantastic opportunity for local landlords to come together to share best practice and keep up to speed with the latest advice on letting a home and in turn improve the standard of rental accommodation for our residents.”

The event hosts a seminar programme which has been especially created in consultation with local landlords. The programme aims to provide both landlords and prospective landlords with the most sought after practical advice designed to provide continuous opportunities for visitors to develop their professional landlord skills. Seminars and exhibition stands will include information on the market, investment opportunities, financial management, legal issues, how to become a landlord and the responsibilities involved. The programme also includes tips on how to take advantage of the latest technologies available to landlords.

Simon Brooks from Seventa Events said: “The event has seen phenomenal growth over the past eight years and is now one of the UK’s biggest and foremost landlord exhibitions. This year promises to be even bigger and better. With Bournemouth and Poole Councils working together, the event will not only have an increased reach and participation but will also fully support landlords who have properties across Bournemouth and Poole. Given the growth of this year’s event the exhibition will also provide a wealth of networking opportunities to all landlords and prospective landlords in attendance.”

Cllr Karen Rampton, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing, Housing and Community Safety, Borough of Poole, said: “Working closely with landlords helps us to ensure that accommodation offered to our residents is of a high standard. I hope that many current and prospective landlords will come along to take advantage of the support and advice on offer.”

The Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Exhibition is an important calendar event for established and prospective landlords to understand the services and products that support their work. An array of leading experts and service providers from across the South Coast will be in attendance to provide invaluable tips and advice.

The Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Exhibition takes place at the BIC on Thursday October 8 2015 10am-7pm. Register to attend for free on the Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Exhibition official website: www.bournemouthlandlordexhibition.co.uk
