Recipe: Aldi’s Grilled Honey Strawberry Brochettes with White Chocolate Cream

A set of wooden skewers is essential for summer creativity. While strawberries are still in season, make the most of them. This recipe for brochettes is ideal for picnics or a casual summer lunch. You just four ingredients from Aldi to put this sweet treat together.

1 x 227g Punnet strawberries

4 x teaspoons Grandessa honey

100g Choceur white chocolate

100ml British single cream

4 x wooden skewers

Break up the chocolate and put in a small glass bowl along with the cream.

Put the bowl over a pan of boiling water, making sure the bottom of the glass does not touch the water, stir till the chocolate has melted, then remove the bowl from the pan and allow to cool.

Cut the strawberries in half if they are large, then wash well and divide them between the four skewers.

Preheat the grill to high.

Put the 4 skewers on a baking tray lined with tin foil.

Brush over the honey.

Grill for about 7 mins, till they are just browning.

Serve alongside the white chocolate sauce.
