New XXL meat mains at ALDI

Bored of Veganuary? Looking for a meaty main? Budget chain ALDI has launched a range of hearty meals to suit families and larger appetites.

Going on sale yesterday,  they are heathy ideas that will warm you up on winter nights with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

A bargain buy for families would be the Ashfield Farm Lamb Chops (700g), available for just £5.49. When accompanied with a creamy mash and steamed vegetables, these are guaranteed to feed the whole family and keep them warm this winter.

On a budget? Ashfield Farm Beef Meatballs (680g) are now on sale for an incredible price of just £2.79. If haggis isn’t on the menu this Burns Night, roll on down to your local Aldi and grab yourself a pack. Combined with a tomato-based sauce, spaghetti and some parmesan, they make for the ideal dinner party meal.

It pays to be a savvy shopper today as it is traditionally the poorest day of the year, being so far away from both New Year and the next payday.
