Avocado chocolate is a winning combination

The avocado ingredient used in the bar is 100% natural freeze dried avocado pulp powder (from the best Hass avocados in the world), which contains the same taste, texture and nutrients of the green fruit. Combined with organic British dark chocolate, those with a sweet tooth will now be able to take their avo-obsession to the next level with the latest Love Cocoa grown-up treat, that’s packed full of nutritional benefits too.

Love Cocoa reinvent British favourites with contemporary twists to produce the best quality handmade chocolate and the Avocado Dark Chocolate Bar isn’t the chocolate business’ first quirky creation. To date they’ve experimented with classic English flavours including Maldon Sea Salt, Earl Grey Tea and Gin & Tonic.

James Cadbury, Founder of Love Cocoa said: “Growing up a Cadbury, I’ve always loved chocolate and experimenting in the kitchen. And like the millions on Instagram, I’m also an avocado fan, so I thought why not mix two of the most loved flavours and foods together – and that’s how the avocado chocolate bar was born!”

The launch sees Cadbury continue to be inspired by his trailblazing ancestors, responding to consumer demand for a premium chocolate with quality ingredients.

The new Avocado Dark Chocolate Bar joins Love Cocoa’s existing range of premium chocolate, which include Great Taste Award winners, Gin and Tonic, Maldon Sea Salt and English Mint. Other flavours include Honey & Honeycomb, Crushed Coffee and plain dark and milk versions, all handmade in Great Britain.

Love Cocoa’s Avocado Dark Chocolate Bar is available to buy now on Love Cocoa’s website, priced at £4.25, with more stockists to be announced shortly:
